Grab a writing utensil and lined paper, and join us for an interactive webinar, where you will be engaging in activities that can be used in writing lessons.

Teaching students to read and write requires explicit, systematic, cumulative, and diagnostic practices. This session will explore a variety of Step Up to Writing^® strategies spanning the K–12 landscape that support the science of reading.

We will discuss practical, explicit, and scaffolded instruction focused on essential low-level skills to build a foundation for writing. We'll also discuss how to support an understanding of text structure for writing development and how to improve reading comprehension writing.
