Jacob Gray holds a Ph.D. in social/personality psychology from the University of California, Riverside in 2018 with an emphasis in quantitative psychology. While his initial research focused on personality and romantic relationships, the quantitative aspect of his research applies to all areas of social science and education research. As senior research analyst, Dr. Gray uses statistics to ensure Acadience Learning measures are reliable, valid, and used to make well-informed decisions. One of the best aspects of his job is applying advanced statistical methods (such as item response theory) to real-world problems that require quantitative solutions. His favorite statistic is the RMSEA fit statistic.
