Peshastin-Dryden Elementary, Leavenworth, Washington

Since 2003, every Peshastin-Dryden teacher has been trained in LETRS^® (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), which has greatly enhanced their ability to understand the process of learning to read. Students in grades K–2 at Peshastin-Dryden Elementary have seen more growth in literacy over the past two years than any students have in the history of the Cascade School District.
